Integrating Unity with Finance Systems

by Sigmarie Soto Updated on

Companies can integrate Unity with major finance systems, such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Coupa, and more, so that invoices can be sent to their Accounts Payable teams directly for payment.

Value-Added Tax (VAT) & Finance System Integration

Tax codes are only implemented for finance integrations.

When the VAT functionality is enabled, the Tax Authorities module is available under the Settings menu. This section is used to set up the rules that govern which tax codes are applied to which tax amounts, according to the appropriate tax authority.

VAT is dependent on where a vendor is doing the work and from which country the work is being billed. Based on the tax rates/codes added, Unity will match the tax amounts on an invoice to the appropriate tax rate. For additional information, review the Tax Authorities guide.

To set up a finance system integration or enable the VAT functionality, please have a SimpleLegal admin from your company contact us at [email protected].
