Release Overview
Onit's May 2026 release includes:
Unity Vendor Portal
Vendor Portal unifies CounselGo and BillingPoint, providing a comprehensive, responsive UI refresh and modern UX for vendors to improve speed, accessibility, and intuitive navigation, reducing vendor training time and increasing adoption.

- Allows clients to create their own RFP questionnaire from a template and send it to vendors of their choosing by selecting existing vendors or creating new vendors.
- Provides a "Reverse Auction" option so that firms can provide their best rates and see how those rates rank against other submissions without being able to see the names of the other firms involved in the process.
- Let the user review historical and current RFPs while always having an option to create a New RFP.
- Provides automated notifications to vendors when they are awarded a matter, including templates for formal engagement that the client can customize.
- Fully integrated with the Onit Vendor Portal; Vendors will have an additional RFP option if they’ve been selected for an RFP.

- Expansion of the existing Budget application to include annual internal and external budgets.
- Improvements to tax handling within the system, including:

Basic Auto Adjustments
Spend Agent automatically calculates and displays recommended monetary adjustments for clear, rule-based variances, so users can confidently apply valid corrections and understand the financial impact of their review decisions. Complex adjustments are out of scope.

Unity LSR
Knowledge Agent
The AI-powered Knowledge Agent within Unity LSR that can answer common legal and process-related questions directly at the point of intake; the agent helps answer informational inquiries that can be resolved through guidance, policy references, or standardized responses without requiring direct legal team involvement. When a question cannot be resolved through the knowledge agent, the system seamlessly transitions the user into the formal LSR submission process.
This capability reduces unnecessary Legal Service Requests, decreases intake volume for the legal team, and provides faster answers to business users while preserving a clear escalation path for requests that require legal review.
Matter Creation Direct from LSR
This release introduces integration between LSR and ELM, enabling an LSR assignee to create a matter directly from an LSR record. Users can open the ELM matter creation form, select the appropriate matter type (based on configured templates), and automatically populate available fields using mapped LSR data.
