November 2026 Release Notes

by Michael Nadeau Updated on

Dear customers,

We are pleased to announce our latest eBilling.Space release, which will go live on Monday, 30 November. This release provides a significant investment in the future of eB.S. It strengthens the platform’s foundation – enhancing security, reliability, and the potential for future innovation – while simultaneously introducing improvements to usability and governance that benefit all customers.

What’s Coming Next in 2027

We are pleased to provide you with an overview of upcoming enhancements for eB.S – developed to meet evolving regulatory requirements and to make daily collaboration more efficient:

  • E-invoicing: We are continuously working on the further development and expansion of our e-invoicing features to help our customers prepare for upcoming regulatory requirements – including the milestone in January 2027. On 20 October, we held a “Lunch & Learn” session covering key developments and their implications for legally compliant invoicing in the EU. If you missed the session or would like to learn more, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager.
  • Chat Feature: We’re working on further improvements to our upcoming Chat feature to deliver a more comprehensive and reliable communication experience. While this will delay the release beyond the originally planned date, the additional time allows us to expand the feature scope and ensure a high-quality experience. We look forward to sharing more details soon.

We hope you enjoy the new features and improvements and, as always, we welcome your feedback.

Confidentiality indicator in Matters

The shield icon is now shown across the Matter Settings page and indicates which matter fields are visible to law firms, and which remain visible to internal users only.

Billing Manager visibility

Client users can now see which law firm users are Billing Managers on the Law Firm details page.  A new column headed Billing manager has been added.

Please note: We introduced the new UI for law firm and lawyer allocation to matters in the last release. The allocation table also displays billing managers.

Invoice linking – information about law firm

The Invoice Linking dialog now provides clearer context about the source law firm and invoice link.

New placeholders for Customise Emails

New placeholders “Matter Name” and “Subsidiary Name” are available for the E-Mail Notifications template “Approved invoice for payment” (Description of this template: “Forwarded ERP invoice” and “Forwarded invoice”).

The template can be found in the menu Settings > Customise e-mails.
