OnitX CLM Word Add-In Updates

Preview Template now viewing allows comments

In a previous release, OnitX CLM included user-created comments to be saved in generated template documents. We've extended the ability to show comments when using the Preview Template functionality in the Word Add-in to save time and frustration. For users, this means they can quickly get a sense of what a template looks like with comments included without having to go through the entire template building process.

OnitX CLM Updates

Amendment Enhancements

The OnitX CLM process has been expanded to allow multiple contracts to be amended in parallel instead of amending one at a time. Users can either select the Amend button on an active contract to create multiple amendments, or use the Amend and Restate button for one-time amendments. This update allows for greater flexibility when external changes and ambiguities drive the need to update your contract portfolio.

Updating Contract Relationships

It is easier than ever to edit contract relationships in OnitX CLM. Simply navigate to a contract record's Related Contracts tab (for records with linked contracts) and click the drop down for Relationship Type. Then select the new type and the relationship will be updated.

Bugs Fixed

  • AdobeSign contracts sent for signature now correctly changes to the Other Party Signature phase
  • Approving or Rejecting a contract no longer routes users to a backend system view they should not be able to access
May Require License Fee and Services for Enablement

OnitX CLM & Catalyst Integration

Catalyst AI Review and Extract initiation from the CLM launch form

Onit customers now have the ability to utilize both Catalyst AI review and extract in one workflow from the CLM launch form, reducing time and clicks to get value out of your contracts. On the launch from, simply checking Send for AI Review? and Send for AI Data Extraction? will now trigger getting risky contract terms identified and vital contract data extracted even faster.

Import Third Party Paper and Store Executed Contracts workflows leveraging Contract Types To AI Checklists app

The contract creation workflows for Import Third Party Paper and Store Executed Contracts now leverages a new app mapping contract types to different Catalyst playbooks. These means users can run reviews on specific contracts types against matching or related playbooks so the right elements comprising the contract are identified for remediation. This mapping eliminates initiating a review with a playbook not matching the contract type, so there will be no erroneous contract reviews against incorrect data.
