Glossary of Date Terms

This document includes the exact definitions of the date terms used in Onit / BillingPoint. 

  • Invoice Date - Date the vendor generated the invoice in their internal system.
  • Invoice Period Start Date - Time period start date for which the invoice is being submitted.
  • Invoice Period End Date - Time period end date for which the invoice is being submitted.
  • Creation Date - Date on which the version of the invoice was created in BP; this could still be a draft or a failed state
  • Submission Date - Date that the invoice was successfully submitted to the client in BP.
