New Features
Matter Suite Template – Tableau
- We are pleased to announce that a new ELM Matter Suite Template (Tableau) is being released as part of the Spring release, which is scheduled for production upgrade on June 3rd, 2023.
- Note: On the release date, only client admins will be able to see this Matter Suite Template through Onit. Clients will need to email Onit Support if the new dashboard needs to be available for any other non-admin groups.
- Matter Suite Template includes the following features:
- Upgraded charts and time series comparisons with the flexibility to run metrics based on different dimensions within a single dashboard.
- Dynamically update KPIs based on year, quarter, and month selection.
- Enhanced the matter suite grids to show discount percentages.
- Open a matter or invoice in Onit directly from the report.
- Single matter analytics view includes yearly/quarterly/monthly or lifetime budget tracking. Note: Onit’s standard budgeting app must be configured within Onit ELM to reflect in the matter suite.
- Single matter analytics will also support different Vendor Fees Arrangements for users to visualize data per fees arrangement.
- Ability to View Spend by calendar year or fiscal year.
- Note: The Fiscal year app must be configured within Onit ELM for the matter suite to return data based on a client-specific fiscal year, quarter, and month.
- Flexibility to compare year-to-date spend between different periods or view the 12-month rolling spend trend.
- Easily export user-friendly grid reports within Matter Suite for further analysis.
Diversity Dashboard
- Onits new diversity dashboard has been further enhanced to include grid style Vendor Diversity metrics that users can easily export.
- Added support for custom staff classification within the Diversity Dashboard.

Matter Suite Template (Power BI)
- The Matter Suite Template in Power BI is also available for all ELM reporting clients who wish to download it and use it in their own Power BI environment. The client must have a DaaS connection to use this reporting template.
- Enhancements:
- Supports various Vendor Fee Arrangements within a single matter view.
- We enhanced the grid reporting to include Gross Fees and discount percentages and rearranged the grids in a logical fashion.
- Support for fixed fee in single matter analytics.
