Data as a Service, DaaS, was introduced earlier as part of a beta program to several customers. Thanks to the feedback from these customers, we are excited to launch DaaS for all customers that includes features to:
Provide a low overhead secured data gateway for clients to access their data within Onit’s data warehouse through DaaS using Open Data Protocols (Odata).
Allows clients to unlock the value of that data for their own revenue growth and business predictability.
Provide a modernized API driven approach to enable broad integration across products such as Power BI, Tableau and Excel.
Provide a simple and uniform way to share data in a discoverable manner.
Enable clients to integrate with their own data warehouses.
Supports Open Authorization (OAuth 2.0) workflow for enhanced security.
A client’s Datawarehouse (DW) can include all apps configured for reporting, billing point invoice data, and any non-app Onit data configured by Onit. Clients will receive a customized data dictionary and the ability to create new users for connection to DaaS.

The Cycle Time Dashboard best practice template can be implemented with the CLM Spring 2022 release.
Product Enhancements
Clients can export non-app tables such as the Onit Logs with Data Extraction Services and query with DaaS. Onit configuration is required.
In conjunction with a Billing Point release in March, specific DW views match the diversity configuration in Billing Point.
InvoiceAI reports have been updated to match filter criteria consistent with changes in InvoiceAI.
Additional fields for line-item number, line item adjusted effective rate, line item tax amount, and line item tax rate have been added to the standard data from Billing Point in the DW for Tableau reporting consumption.
Bug Fixes
The custom data dictionary was not correctly sorted such that views didn’t have all attributes grouped together.
The custom data dictionary had system fields marked as reportable when they should not have.
Matter Status filter in the GC Suite dashboard was displayed three times.
