Allows you to categorize holds based on their type (usually aligned to Matter type taxonomy)

Hold Type is a required field

Allows you to set the appropriate Hold Notice and other settings so that each Hold type can be treated differently but consistently.

For example, a Hold Notice sent out for an Employment Litigation type of Hold might be different from that sent out for a Patent Litigation. Hold Types will allow you to manage your holds by selecting a different notice for each Hold Type. Each Hold Type can also have different reminder and release notification templates.

Settings such as approvals, escalations, acknowledgement reminders, and reissue settings can also be set on the Hold Type.

A new Dashboard Widget will display the holds by Type, allowing for a quick view of the types of legal holds being managed.

Allows you to identify whether an email sent out from the system was delivered to the recipient.

Allows you to quickly find out email delivery status and displays the following Email Delivery Statuses in the Correspondence app of a Legal Hold

1. Pending - Waiting for the system response
2. Delivered - Email was delivered
3. Failed - Email was not delivered

A new Dashboard table will identify when the system is aware that emails have not been delivered.

Using this information, LH managers will be able to identify if there is a problem with the custodian’s info or if more digging may be necessary to remedy the issue.

When looking for a simple list of custodians and their status, a new Simplified View Report Display is available.

This simplified view shows the basic information in an easy-to-read report.

This new view allows you to see all the holds and custodians in one report that displays aggregated hold data based on each custodian. This report makes it easier to see the status of a single custodian across all the holds they are associated with.

When two custodians with the same name are on the same hold, the unique email addresses will ensure both custodians will be created.

The Release process has been optimized to reduce the time it takes to release custodians by around 50%.

A graphQL may appear sporadically at the time of issuing the Hold Notice or re-issuing the Hold Notice.
