This is a fix for the error some users may get. If you are seeing the error below, try the following instructions to fix the issue.

1. Open your Microsoft IE or Edge by clicking on the Windows Logo, typing "iexplore" and clicking on the Internet Explorer app.

2. Click on the "Settings" gear on the top right and select "Internet options" at the bottom of the page.

3. From there, go to the "Security" tab and make sure that "Enable Protected Mode" is ticked. Select OK.

4. After this is done, close Internet Explorer and restart Microsoft Word. You should now be able to open Precedent ReviewAI.

5. If that does not solve the issue, go back to the security tab and ensure that "Enable Protected Mode" is ticked for Trusted Sites; add this link as one of the trusted sites:
