Catalyst: Microsoft Word Requirements

Which versions of Microsoft Word are compatible with our software?

Our software is compatible with the following desktop versions of Microsoft Word:

  1. Microsoft Word 2016 Professional Plus (Standard 2016 will not function)
    • This was NOT released for Mac
  2. Microsoft Word 2019
    • Office 2019 (desktop/stand alone option)
    • Office 2019 Home/Student
    • Office 2019 Home and Business
    • Office 2019 Professional
    • Office 2019 Professional Plus
  3. The most recent desktop version of Microsoft Word as part of Microsoft 365 (as of 2023).
    • Microsoft 365 Apps for Business (desktop app)
    • Microsoft 365 Business Standard (desktop app)
    • Microsoft 365 Business Premium (desktop app)

Please note: Our software is NOT compatible with the online versions of Microsoft Word.

Keep in mind, it's important to regularly update your Microsoft software to ensure optimal compatibility. However, differences in features and functionality between versions may impact how our software interacts with Microsoft Word.
