Adjusting the Settings

To manage the different configuration settings wtihin eBilling.Space, go to the Settings tab on the left-hand side menu.

Details / Personal Data

Click on Details to adjust some of the main settings. Under Personal Data, you can adjust the:

Personal information:

  • Salutation and Title (drop-down menus)
  • Last name, First name, and email
  • Phone and Internal Lawyer ID
  • Classification and Experience in years (drop-down menus)
  • Location and Date format (drop-down menus)
  • Time zone
  • Language and themes (drop-down menu)

Click Save to save the changes or Discard to discard. Fields with an asterisk are required.

Under Occupational Status, you can adjust the:

  • Date of Entry
  • Specialisation (shift-click or command-shift-click to select/deselect); use the Add another specialization to add more entries

Click Save to save the changes or Discard to discard.

Under Change password, you can adjust your password. You'll have to fill in the Current Password, New password, and repeat the new password. Click Save to save the changes.

Under Session Timeout, you can specify how long you'd like each session to last. Click Save to save the changes or Discard to discard.

Under Hide Invoices, you can select:

  • Hide paid invoices after:
  • Hide payment received invoices after:
  • Hide rejected invoices after:
  • Hide cancelled invoices after:

Use the drop-down menus on each field to specify the timeline. Click Save to save the changes or Discard to discard.

Personal Email Settings

Under Personal Email Settings, you can turn on or off alerts for several different options within eBilling.Space.

You can click on Discard Changes, Enable All Email, Disable All Email, and Disable All In-App at the top of the screen. Under each section, you can choose Enable All or Enable All and select notifications between In App and E-Mail.

Click Save to save changes.

Law Firm Data

Use the Law Firm Data tab to edit the basic information about the law firm.

Under Law Firm Data, you can:

  • Update the law firm name
  • Update Law Firm VAT ID
  • Update account
  • Update law firm email

You can also update IBAN/Account Number, BIC/SWIFT, Bank, and Central Contact Email.

Under All locations, you can view and update law firm locations; the main screen will detail the Location address and Billing address, along with Options (edit and delete). Click on Add another location to add another location to the database.

If you click on Add another location, you can fill in the law firm address and billing address information for the new firm. Click Save to save the information.

If you click on Delete, you'll get this message. Click No, do not delete or Yes, delete.

Under Billing Manager, you can set the Billing Manager for the firm.

Under Standard Hourly Rates, you can click on the Standard hourly rates for lawyers check box to specify the rates for lawyers. Click on Add hourly rates to add more.

Personalized entries

Under Personalized entries, you can view the personalized Specializations, Billing practices, Alternative fee arrangements, Alternative fee arrangements - RFPs, and Types of third parties that are created.

InApp Notifications

You can also click on InApp Notifications to view the notifications. Use the Filter to filter by Status (drop-down menu), Date from and to, and Subject. Click Filter to filter. You can also click on Read all or Unread all to adjust the notification statuses.
