Concept and Document Searching

Our searches all include fuzzy searching, which means it will look for the root word and any variations on that word; for example, searching for "law" will also find "laws."

Logical Operators (these must be in all caps, or they will not work)

AND

e.g., governing AND law

find the words government AND law

OR

e.g., governing OR law

find the word governing or law, but they both do not need to be present

NOT

e.g., governing NOT law

find governing but not where the word law is present (this would probably work best in a concept search vs a document search)

Phrase Matching

e.g., “governing law”

find the specific phrase governing law only
