Enhancements

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for User Login

For an added layer of security, we have enabled MFA for all accounts as of January 31, 2026. Users can choose between two MFA methods for verification: an Authentication App (e.g., Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, etc.) or SMS text message (shown below). This can be configured or updated at any time from the account settings page. For more details about MFA, click here.

New Features

Reprocessing AI Tag Extract

Customers using the AI Contract Extract feature can now rerun the AI tag extract on documents by using the new Reprocess AI option from the Actions menu. This minimizes manual rework in cases when auto-tagging previously failed or when auto-tagging on a document needs to be refreshed.

To avoid mistakenly overwriting changes made since the initial tag extract, users will be prompted to confirm they want to move forward with re-extracting data for all AI-generated tags. For additional information about using the Reprocess AI option, click here

Auto-Apply Tag Templates to Folders

We are introducing a more streamlined way to apply and manage tags by allowing users to associate templates with predefined sets of tags to specific folders in the document repository so that they are automatically applied to uploaded documents. This is useful for high-volume workflows with data extraction requirements that are specific to document types or unique business needs.

When creating one or multiple folders, users can assign specific tag templates (optional) from the dropdown menu for auto-tagging.

Tag templates can also be applied to existing folders by using the Assign Template or Change Template options from the Actions menu. For additional information about this functionality, click here.

NOTE: Any AI-applied templates display an icon next to the template name on the folders list for reference.

Enhancements

AI Limits on Tag Templates

When creating or updating tag templates, admins can now assign a maximum of 20 AI-enabled tags to each template. Once the limit is reached, admins are shown a tooltip message. This limit is being implemented to make sure that AI activity is tied to usage and not just to storage.

New AI-enabled tags created from a tag template that has reached its AI limit are stored in the tags library but not applied to the template to avoid any data loss or rework.

ContractWorks Premium User Experience Redesign

To improve overall usability and consistency across screens for ContractWorks Premium, we streamlined the UI for the Create & Collaborate section. These enhancements reduce the time it takes to complete key tasks and make it easier to find important information through clearer navigation and filtering, a simplified list view, and quicker access to actions and modals.

We implemented anti-bot checks on packet links to prevent unnecessary email notifications.

Issues Resolved

  • Significantly sped up loading times for users with many folders in the document repository.
  • Document status refresh banner now only triggers when expected.
  • We improved the relevancy of AI data extract for scanned pdf documents with bad metadata.
