UT-E-201 Unity ELM now supports invoice-level tax details passed from Counsel Exchange so clients can clearly see taxes applied to an invoice. Invoice-level discounts are also supported, and related financial dashboard and reporting calculations have been updated accordingly.
UT-E-195 Timekeeper rate management now includes in-product rate adjustments, allowing admins to update proposed rates with an effective date and reason directly on the record. Timekeeper rate records also support their own comments, activity, participants, vendor notifications, and adjustment history for more complete review and collaboration.
Enhancements
UT-775 The matter details page now provides a larger editing area for long-text fields such as Matter Description. This makes it easier to review and update longer content directly within the edit window.
UT-809 Invoice numbers on the invoice details page now display more completely instead of being truncated at 16 characters. This improves visibility for longer invoice identifiers while making better use of available page space.
UT-E-222 Custom attributes now support a multi-select field type. This allows users to choose more than one value for a single attribute and supports alphanumeric entries for added flexibility.
UT-794 Favorite or starred records are now available for additional record types in Unity. Users can quickly access important invoices, matters, and vendors from their environments using the same saved-record behavior already available elsewhere in the product.
Enhanced reports can now be scheduled for automatic email delivery to stakeholders on a recurring basis. Steps to schedule reports:
From the Reports Settings page, users can navigate to Alerts and Reports and click on Report+ to schedule an enhanced report for automatic delivery at a defined cadence.
Users can enter Report Name, Owner, Description and decide whether or not to Activate scheduling.
Users can define a delivery cadence as per desired time zones. (Note that enhanced reports are refreshed every 24 hours)
Users can choose an enhanced report/chart and enter designated recipient emails under Notification method and click on Add to complete scheduling a report/chart.
Three new enhanced reports have been added to Unity ELM to improve actionable reporting and insights.
Invoice Reviewer Velocity Report: This report allows clients to get visibility into which reviewers are efficient at approving invoices and identify where there might be bottlenecks to evaluate reviewer performance. It will allow reviewers to get insights into the number of invoices pending with them, Invoice Totals associated to these pending review invoices and help them understand since when is the review pending.
Invoices Pending Review Report: This report provides visibility into invoices that are currently awaiting review in the approval workflow. It helps legal operations teams quickly identify invoices that have been pending for an extended period of time and determine where potential review bottlenecks may exist.
Invoice Adjustments Report: This report provides visibility into invoice adjustments made during the invoice review process and highlights the resulting cost savings. It enables legal operations teams to understand how much spend is being reduced through invoice review, what types of adjustments are being made most frequently, and which vendors, matters, or reviewers are contributing most to those adjustments.
