About Unity Legal Service Requests (LSR)

Onit’s Unity Legal Service Requests (LSR) solution provides customers with a standardized, out-of-the-box intake flow when other teams need help or support from your legal department, such as general legal/policy questions, contract reviews, and patentability investigations. This allows for a reliable workflow that facilitates the capture of requests, simplifies assignment, and allows for status tracking and collaboration.

For example, if the marketing team has created campaign material for the launch of a new product, they can use the Unity LSR portal to submit a review request, assign it a priority and business impact category, enter a requested due date, and attach the communications. Once reviewed by an Intake Admin and approved, the request is assigned to an attorney/analyst for completion and status update.

Unity LSR features include:

  • Out-of-the-box forms for common request types (e.g., Contract Change, Signatory/Authority Request, etc.)
  • Simple queue management for fast triage and assignment
  • User management and role permissions for data visibility control
  • Portal access for requesters to answer questions or submit requested details, track the status, and follow up
  • Visibility for legal team via dashboard and filtering (e.g., action items, due dates, priorities)
  • Ability for assignees to ask for details, add comments, place requests on hold, or add other participants

NOTE: Unity LSR is an add-on solution that requires purchase. Contact your Onit representative for more details.
