Two-Factor Authentication for SimpleLegal Login
For an added layer of security, we have enabled Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for users who log in with an email and password. After entering their credentials, users receive an automated email with a 6-digit verification code that must be entered to continue with login.
The code expires within 1 hour of receipt; we recommend checking your spam/junk folders if you do not see the email in your primary inbox within a few minutes. If the code does not arrive or is invalid, click Send a new code.
NOTE: 2FA is not required for SimpleLegal users who log in via SSO.
Issues Resolved
- We resolved an issue that was preventing invoices from automatically reflecting manual changes made to default matter-level allocations for some customers.
- We resolved a custom attribute scope issue related to Matter Groups and Legal Entities that was preventing expected custom attribute list values from appearing on matter templates for some customers.
- We resolved an issue that was preventing the Accruals tab from appearing in matter records for some customers after the custom setting was enabled.
- If values are selected for Practice Area and/or Legal Entity fields when creating a new matter, any custom attribute dropdown fields that are present on the matter creation panel now filter correctly if the custom attribute values have Applicable Practice Areas and/or Applicable Legal Entities.
- We resolved a filtering logic issue that was preventing the display of expected values on matter templates for custom attribute list values based on Applicable Practice Areas and/or Applicable Legal Entities.
- We updated the reply-to email address linked to the approval button in the "On Arrival" email notification for customers who are configured to approve invoices via email.
- When a matter is created using the Matters API and the "matter_lead_is_approver" is set to TRUE, using the GET Matter Details request no longer incorrectly displays FALSE for the "matter_lead_is_approver" field.
- If users use bulk actions to edit the due date for multiple tasks, the updated tasks now reflect the selected date. Prior to this fix, the due date was being pushed out by one day for tasks updated in bulk.
