Using the Calendar

by Michael Nadeau Updated on

The eBilling.Space Calendar shows you important matter tasks and dates that are coming up in the future.

The main Calendar screen will show the Matter name, Time period, Subject, and Type (Task or Date); you can use the icons under Options to Redo the event, Edit the task or date, Check off the task, Copy the task or date, or Delete (trash can) the task or date. Note that these options will change per the event status and type.

Clicking on Edit will allow you to edit the Task or Date.

When editing a Task, you'll have to edit the:

  • Subject
  • Start date and Start time
  • Description
  • Visibility (all or company and law firm)

Hit Save to save your changes or Cancel to back out.

Editing a Date is similar to editing a Task. The only differences are:

  • The ability to designate it as a Task to be completed
  • The addition of an End date and an End time (and the ability to make it an all-day event)

Hit Save to save your changes or Cancel to back out.

If you Copy an event, you'll get screens similar to the Edit options.

To Add a task or an event to the calendar, click on Add in the right-hand corner.

You'll have to select a Matter and fill out the same information detailed in the Edit screen - Subject, Start Date, a check box to mark it as a Task (if necessary), Start and End Date and Time, Description, and Visibility (all or company and law firm).

Note that if you click on Task, the End Date and End Time options will not appear.

Click Save to update or Cancel to back out.
