Adding a Matter
There are two ways to add a new matter to the system. The first is to go through the Quick Add (plus sign) menu on the top of the screen and click on New Matter.
Note: These User Guides will be updated as more features are added and revised. Check in frequently for more information.
The other option is to click on the Add Matters button on the Matters page.

From either option, the Add to Matters screen will appear. Select the Matters Template (at present, Create Matter) from the Select Matters Template drop-down menu.
Fill out the:
- Matter Name
- Matter Lead (drop-down menu)
- Practice Area (drop-down menu)
- Legal Entity (drop-down menu)
- Client Matter ID
- Opened On (date selector)
Click Next to create the matter or Cancel to back out. You can also click Back to Templates to go to the prior screen.
You'll see the matter appear on the main Matters screen; the KPI panel numbers will also update.
