Uninstalling the Onit Connect Word Add-in
OnitX CLM is sunsetting the Onit Connect Word Add-in due to challenges with older architecture and security. With the sunset of the Connect Word Add-In, Onit will onboard customers to the newer consolidated Word Add-In, adding more functionality to the CLM experience in Microsoft Word and integrating with the Catalyst AI platform for playbook reviews and AI-enabled contract chat.
This article covers removing the Connect Add-in from Word for both Microsoft and MacOS.
- In Microsoft Word on your Windows device, go click Add-ins.
2. In the Add-ins pop up window, select More Add-ins.
3. In the Office Add-ins screen, click the MY ADD-IN text. Click the three dots and select Remove from the menu to delete the add-in from your PC.
4. Click the Close button.
- In Microsoft Word on your Mac device, go to the Insert menu and select My Add-ins
2. Locate the Onit Connect add-in, click the three dots menu, and select Remove.
3. Click Close to exit the Office Add-ins window.
